About The Position
This role involves assisting with the baseball program and teaching a subject, with a second sport to be determined. The position requires a Bachelor's Degree, a valid Texas Teaching certificate with appropriate endorsements, and knowledge of the assigned subject matter, curriculum, and UIL rules. Experience in student teaching or an approved internship is recommended.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university.
- Valid Texas Teaching certificate with required endorsements for subject/level assigned.
- Knowledge of subject assigned.
- General knowledge of curriculum and instruction.
- Knowledge of University Interscholastic League (UIL) rules.
- Ability to instruct and supervise student athletes.
- Recommend at least 1 year of student teaching or approved internship.
