About The Position

The Assistant Bartender at Alle Lounge is responsible for greeting and welcoming guests professionally, maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the bar area, and ensuring the bar is properly stocked with necessary supplies for service. This role involves replenishing ice coolers, garnish trays, straws, and napkin holders, as well as ensuring bar equipment and supplies are clean and in working order. The Assistant Bartender is expected to anticipate guest needs and respond appropriately with a sense of urgency, perform all opening and closing duties based on shift assignment, and ensure all Resorts World core values and property and department standards are implemented and applied. Additionally, this position may involve participating in in-house modeling programs, special casino events, banquet service functions, marketing campaigns, and advertising, performing model/presenter tasks, and posing for pictures as requested by management. The role also requires using personal devices for job-related tasks and performing other duties as requested.

Requirements

General knowledge of beverages including coffee, tea, and alcoholic beverages.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
High School Diploma
Previous experience working in a bar or restaurant setting.
Ability to multitask and react quickly in times of need.
Team player attitude with a professional yet friendly personality.
Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

Extensive knowledge of spirits, wine and beer, with an emphasis on craft cocktails and mixology.
Previous experience working in a large, luxury resort setting.
6 months to a year of previous experience working in a fast-paced bar setting.
3-6 months of previous experience working in a luxury or upscale lounge setting.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome all guests in a professional manner.
Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the bar area.
Ensure the bar is properly stocked with supplies necessary for service.
Replenish ice coolers, garnish trays, straws and napkins holders.
Ensure bar equipment and supplies are clean and in working order.
Anticipate the guests' needs and respond appropriately with a sense of urgency.
Perform all opening and closing duties based upon shift assignment.
Ensure all Resorts World core values and property and department standards are implemented and applied.
Obtain and maintain position-specific licensing.
Participate in in-house modeling programs, special casino events, banquet service functions, marketing campaigns and advertising and perform model/presenter tasks.
Pose for pictures as requested by management, appear in uniform or designated (logo) apparel for promotional activities at or away from venue.
Use personal device/cellular phone for job related operational tasks, job duties, review of company documents, etc.
Perform other job-related duties as requested.
