About The Position

At Floyd's 99 Barbershop, we're looking for an energetic, people-first Assistant Barbershop Leader to help support shop operations, develop a talented team, and create an incredible experience for both clients and team members. You'll work alongside the Shop Leader to keep the business running smoothly while helping barbers and stylists grow their skills and confidence. If you're passionate about leadership, coaching others, and creating a positive shop culture, we'd love to meet you.

Requirements

• Active Colorado Barber or Cosmetology License
• 3+ years of barbering or styling experience in a fast-paced environment
• Leadership experience or a strong desire to grow into a leadership role
• Availability to work a full-time schedule, including evenings and weekends

Nice To Haves

• Experience with coaching, inventory management, recruiting, scheduling, or business operations is a plus
• Passion for developing others and delivering outstanding service

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Shop Leader to support daily shop operations
• Coach, mentor, and develop barbers and stylists
• Help maintain high standards for cuts, colors, shaves, and customer service
• Lead by example behind the chair while delivering an exceptional client experience
• Support recruiting and hiring efforts to help build a strong team
• Assist with inventory management, purchase orders, and month-end responsibilities
• Help manage scheduling, shop performance, and operational efficiency
• Foster a positive, collaborative culture where people enjoy coming to work
