About The Position

This role serves customers, prospective customers, and bank associates with prompt and professional service, adhering to Park Promises and Serving More standards. The Assistant Banking Center Manager ensures branch policies and procedures are followed, executes retail banking initiatives through consultative relationship management, and acts as an advocate for digital product adoption. Responsibilities include originating and maintaining deposit accounts, identifying consumer lending opportunities, promoting lending products, and originating consumer loans. The role also involves making product referrals to other business lines and experts, actively participating in a team environment, and promoting the bank within the market area. A key aspect of the role is risk management, including identifying, measuring, monitoring, controlling, and mitigating departmental and enterprise-wide risks, while maintaining awareness of and adherence to Bank's compliance requirements. The position requires delivering a consistent, high level of service, interviewing and selecting candidates, setting goals, providing on-the-job training, developing associate skills, conducting performance reviews, and managing staff, including approving timecards for 5+ FTEs. Periodic community or networking events on evenings or weekends may be required.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Serve customers, prospective customers and bank associates promptly and professionally and in full accordance with Park Promises and Serving More standards.
  • Ensure established branch policies and procedures are followed in accordance with Bank guidelines.
  • Execute retail banking initiatives and strategies through consultative relationship management.
  • Act as advocate of digital product adoption for customers and internal support for branch associates.
  • Responsible for Deposit Account origination and maintenance, including but not limited to Retail Deposit Accounts, Digital Products and Services, small business deposit accounts.
  • Mine customer relationships for consumer lending opportunities, be familiar with and promote lending products, and originate Consumer Loans.
  • Responsible to make product referrals to other Lines of Business and subject matter experts.
  • Be an active member in a team of associates serving the customer.
  • Actively work with branch manager and leadership to promote the bank within the market area.
  • Individually and if applicable, as a manager, participate in identifying, measuring, monitoring, controlling and mitigating departmental and enterprise-wide risks.
  • Maintain awareness of and adherence to Bank’s compliance requirements and risk management concepts, expectations, policies and procedures and apply them to daily tasks.
  • Deliver a consistent, high level of service within our Serving More standards.
  • Interview and select candidates for openings, set goals for associates, assign tasks/duties, conduct on–the-job training, develop associates’ skills and encourage growth, prepare disciplinary write-ups as appropriate, prepare and conduct performance reviews and make recommendations for salary adjustments, approve timecards for 5+ FTEs and other duties associated with managing a staff.
  • Must be available for periodic community-based or networking events on evenings or weekends as needed.
