About The Position

Kneaders Bakery & Cafe is currently looking for a talented part-time Assistant Bread Baker. We are looking for an individual who is as passionate about food quality, customer service, community & as we are! In the role of Assistant Bread Baker, you will have the opportunity to be part of a dynamic team who will offer a unique menu selection of artisan, sweet, & seasonal breads all baked with honest, whole ingredients.

Requirements

• Proven track record of demonstrating abilities in the kitchen.
• Ability to work afternoons/nights.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Nice To Haves

• Large-scale baking/pastry experience.
• Formal baking/pastry education.

Responsibilities

• Baking artisan, sweet, and seasonal breads.
• Following recipes and paying close attention to details.
• Lifting large amounts of dough, flour, and other supplies weighing 50 lbs. plus.
• Standing, lifting, and mixing.
• Working through change and being flexible while monitoring cooking.
• Working afternoon/evening shifts, including Sundays.
• Potentially working overnight shifts during holiday seasons.
