About The Position

Kneaders Bakery & Cafe is looking for a talented part-time Assistant Bread Baker. This role involves being part of a dynamic team that offers a unique menu selection of artisan, sweet, & seasonal breads all baked with honest, whole ingredients. The ideal candidate is passionate about food quality, customer service, and community.

Requirements

• Proven track record of kitchen abilities, including following recipes and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more.
• Ability to stand, lift, and mix.
• Ability to work through change and be flexible.
• Afternoon/night availability required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Nice To Haves

• Large-scale baking/pastry experience.
• Formal baking/pastry education.

Responsibilities

• Baking artisan, sweet, and seasonal breads.
• Following recipes and paying close attention to details.
• Lifting large amounts of dough, flour, and other supplies weighing 50 lbs. or more.
• Standing, lifting, and mixing as a daily requirement.
• Working through change and being flexible while monitoring baking processes.
• Adhering to food handler and sanitation standards.
