About The Position

This posting is for a full-time, 12-month, exempt position. This position provides athletic training services for sports to be determined. Administer the care, prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of athletic injuries and related problems, as well as oversee general administration of the athletic training facilities.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in athletic training or related field
• BOC certification and OH licensure eligible (Ohio license must be granted prior to beginning work)
• A valid US Driver’s license with a safe driving record is required.

Nice To Haves

• Zero to six months of athletic training experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee general administration of the athletic training facilities.
• Provide prevention, care, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries to intercollegiate athletes.
• Prepare and cover athletic practices and games (JV as applicable), including travel.
• Document injuries/illnesses and assist athletes with insurance claims.
• Refer to medical director and other healthcare professionals.
• Communicate with coaches and medical professionals.
• Attend meetings in intercollegiate athletics.
• This position may require meeting with students and colleagues during designated meal periods and participating in on-campus dining.
