About The Position
Performing evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation, and prevention of athletic injuries for 21 NCAA/Club Athletic Teams competing at the NCAA Division II level. This role involves practice and game coverage and other duties as assigned by the Senior Associate AD for Sport Medicine and Head Athletic Trainer. The position requires daily contact with individuals, necessitating courtesy, discretion, and sound judgment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- NATABOC Certified Athletic Trainer
- New York State Department of Education Certified Athletic Trainer
- 1 to 3 years of work-related experience
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook Word)

Responsibilities
- Performing evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation, and prevention of athletic injuries for 21 NCAA/Club Athletic Teams competing at the NCAA Division II level.
- Work in conjunction with the Sports Medicine Team, consisting of the Associate AD for Sports Medicine, the Head Athletic Trainer and Assistant Athletic Trainers, Team Physicians, Team Physical Therapist and Strength and Conditioning Coach, to provide the highest medical care to Molloy University Student-Athletes.
- Attend and supervise both home and away contests and practices.
- Maintain appropriate medical records both on paper and through electronic mediums, including insurance claims.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the Athletic Training Room.
