About The Position
In partnership with the University of Tulsa, Oklahoma Surgical Hospital is offering the following Assistant Athletic Trainer - Cross Country and Track position. The Assistant Athletic Trainer coordinates the medical care of student-athletes in Cross Country and Track & Field, including the prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of athletic injuries and illnesses. The Assistant Athletic Trainer will assist in the daily operation of the athletic training room and act as a preceptor in the athletic training program.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in related field.
- A minimum of two years of experience in athletic training.
- BOC certification required upon hire.
- Must be eligible for or currently have OK Athletic Trainer License upon hire.
- CPR/AED Certification required upon hire.
- Previous experience in Athletic Training.
- Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills.
- Strong work ethic.
- Self-starter.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Great attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Coordinates the medical care of student-athletes in Cross Country and Track & Field, including the prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of athletic injuries and illnesses.
- Assist in the daily operation of the athletic training room.
- Act as a preceptor in the athletic training program.
