Assistant Athletic Director of Broadcast Operations

About The Position

Serve as the lead administrator for broadcast operations for WNMU Athletics, ensuring livestreams and related digital productions are delivered at a high standard for home athletic events and select special events. Support broadcast operations through FloCollege, the Lone Star Conference network, and other digital streaming platforms. Coordinate broadcast production needs for home athletic events and select special events in collaboration with Athletics Communications staff. Lead broadcast production activities for home athletic events and select special events, including video board operations, livestream execution, replay systems, graphics integration, audio coordination, and in-venue digital content, ensuring alignment with conference, NCAA, institutional, and departmental branding and broadcast standards. Collaborate with athletics communications staff, coaches, student-athletes, campus partners, and athletics leadership to develop creative storytelling, promotional content, and digital media initiatives that enhance fan engagement and promote WNMU Athletics programs and events. Coordinate setup, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of broadcast, audio/visual, and production equipment used for livestreams and digital media operations. Assist with planning, shooting, editing, and publishing promotional videos, highlight packages, interviews, and feature content for athletics programs and departmental initiatives. Provide training, guidance, and scheduling coordination for student workers and game-day personnel involved in broadcast and multimedia operations. Performs other duties as assigned.
