About The Position

Tennessee Technological University's College of Business is seeking a full-time, tenure-track Assistant/Associate Professor to begin in August 2027. The role involves teaching responsibilities at the undergraduate and/or M.B.A. levels, with all areas of interest being considered. The College of Business, accredited by AACSB, serves approximately 1,400 students and offers degrees in Economics, Finance, Marketing, Management, Decision Sciences, and Accounting. Starting in Fall 2027, the college will feature a Behavioral Research Lab for faculty and student experiments. The university itself serves around 10,700 students and is located in Cookeville, Tennessee.

Requirements

Ph.D. in Economics or equivalent from an accredited institution.
A.B.D.s in advanced dissertation stages will also be considered, but the degree must be conferred by the start date (August 1, 2027).
Demonstrate the potential for excellent teaching, research, and service to the university and profession.
Demonstrate the ability to teach online and teach alternative delivery formats.

Nice To Haves

Teaching experience at the principles and intermediate level.
