About The Position
The Division of Pulmonary Medicine at OHSU Doernbecher Children’s Hospital provides clinical care within a 151-bed hospital-within-a-hospital, as well as outpatient clinics. The division also offers outreach clinics across the Portland Metro Area and throughout the state. The successful candidate will share clinical service responsibilities in inpatient wards, outpatient clinics, and outreach clinics, and will participate in night and weekend on-call duties. The division is actively involved in educating medical students and residents and may participate in translational research and clinical trials.
Requirements
- MD/DO
- Oregon Medical License
- DEA Certificate
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatric Pulmonology
- Completion of a three-year, GME-approved Pediatric Pulmonary Medicine Fellowship
Responsibilities
- Maintain a share of clinical service in inpatient wards, outpatient clinics, and outreach clinics.
- Assume an appropriate share of night and weekend on-call service.
- Participate in educational endeavors for medical students and residents.
- May participate in translational research and clinical trials.
