Assistant/Associate Professor of Instruction - Computer Science
About The Position
Required Qualifications For All Ranks: Master’s degree in computer science or a closely related field by the start of employment. Evidence of teaching effectiveness in US universities. Excellent written and oral English communication skills. In addition, for the Associate Professor of Instruction rank: At least five years of teaching experience or at least 10 years’ experience in industry working as a senior/lead scientist or engineer. Preferred Qualifications Ph.D. degree in computer science or a closely related field. Experience teaching both lower- and upper-level computer science courses. Demonstrates current and contemporary competence in teaching content area University service experience. Exhibits the potential for increased leadership in teaching and instructional activities
