The University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) School of Dental Medicine is seeking to fill three (3) full-time, 12-month, non-tenure-track Assistant/Associate/Professor-in-Residence of Clinical Sciences (Pediatric Dentistry) positions. One of these positions will be selected as the Program Director for the Advanced Education in Pediatric Dentistry program. The primary responsibilities include educating students in the predoctoral curriculum and the CODA-Accredited Advanced Education Program in Pediatric Dentistry. Faculty will coordinate teaching and learning in pediatric dentistry, ensuring competency for general dentists and providing training and mentorship for dentists in the advanced education program. The roles involve providing discipline-specific education, supervision, and mentorship in pediatric dentistry, as well as contributing to evidence-based curriculum and clinical patient care. The Program Director role, in addition to core faculty duties, involves overall oversight of the 24-month postdoctoral program, including curriculum development, clinical operations, assessment, reporting, and ensuring compliance with CODA accreditation standards and UNLV protocols. This includes managing the admissions process, ensuring resident compliance with standards, and serving as a liaison between predoctoral and advanced education programs, fostering an inclusive environment.
