Washington State University Athletics is hiring for an Assistant Athletic Director (AD) for Sports Medicine with Football. You will play a vital role in supporting the health, performance, and overall well-being of Cougar Football student-athletes. In this position, you will work closely with the Medical Director, team physicians, and the Associate Director of Athletics for Sports Performance, Health & Well-Being, to coordinate and oversee all aspects of Sports Medicine services for the football program. You will also collaborate with the Assistant Director of Athletics for Sports Medicine to help ensure consistent, high-quality care and operations across the entire unit. In your day-to-day work, you will lead efforts in injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation, and case management, while supervising Sports Medicine staff assigned to the football program. You will also manage the Cougar Football Complex Sports Medicine Facility, ensuring it operates efficiently and meets the highest standards. Your role will require you to adhere to all applicable State, University, Department, Conference, NCAA, and NATA guidelines, best practices, and regulations. Beyond clinical care, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of future professionals by mentoring and supervising Athletic Training students within an accredited program.
