The Assistant Account Manager supports the Account Manager in overseeing security services performance and operations. This role works closely with the Account Manager to implement strategic initiatives, manage day-to-day operations, and ensure service excellence across all security functions. The Assistant Account Manager helps coordinate operational activities across existing sites while supporting expansion to new locations. This role requires strong organizational skills and operational flexibility to provide timely support for site security needs. The Assistant Account Manager reports directly to the Account Manager and helps supervise site-level personnel. CORE OBJECTIVES Support the Account Manager in building a world-class operation by applying the Leadership Principles of Customer Obsession and Earn Trust throughout all service delivery. Strengthen the relationship between Marksman Security (MSEC) and PSME SecOps through consistent communication and follow-through. Implement standardized operational practices to maintain consistent performance across all locations. Support training initiatives that ensure compliance with BSIS mandatory education while enhancing officer capabilities. Assist in benchmarking operations against industry standards to identify opportunities for improvement. Ensure personnel adherence to Job Duties, Post Orders, SOPs, ERPs, and specialized Operational Nomenclature. Help foster a culture of excellence that attracts and retains quality security talent in the Los Angeles market.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of supervisory experience in security operations
  • 1+ years of experience in account management or client services
  • Experience with client relationship management
  • Strong communication skills with ability to interact with various stakeholders
  • Problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
  • Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Business Management, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
  • Active BSIS Guard Card
  • Familiarity with Enterprise Access Control Systems (e.g., LenelS2, Avigilon, Genetec)
  • Experience working in or with a SOC/GSOC
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 Suite
  • Understanding of security operations and compliance requirements
  • Basic budgeting and financial tracking abilities
  • Experience with scheduling and resource allocation
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Data collection and reporting capabilities

  • Security certifications preferred (e.g., CPO, CSSM)

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a secondary point of contact between MSEC (Supplier) and PSME (Purchaser).
  • Prepare materials for weekly syncs, Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs), and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).
  • Assist in developing and implementing security roadmaps based on the client's risk profile.
  • Compile data and metrics for security reports to client leadership.
  • Assist with security assessments and risk evaluations.
  • Support incident response coordination and help manage escalations.
  • Monitor security platforms and report issues to the Account Manager.
  • Track security systems functionality and assist with budget management.
  • Monitor compliance with security policies, regulations, and BSIS laws.
  • Help supervise staff to ensure adherence to contractual and professional standards.
  • Assist in organizing "State of the Program" and All-Hands meetings.
  • Support the staffing process, from screening candidates to coordinating onboarding.
  • Monitor adherence to procedures, time-and-attendance, and uniform standards.
  • Track turnover metrics and assist with personnel management issues.
  • Implement operational decisions as directed by the Account Manager.
  • Conduct daily timekeeping reconciliation via WinTeam and eHub.
  • Monitor NBOT% (Non-Billable Overtime) and report on guard performance.
  • Assist with procurement and maintenance of security-related equipment and uniforms.
  • Organize operational shared drives and maintain program documentation.
