Assets Protection (AP) teams are responsible for securing guests, team members, and the brand, leading through crisis events, and protecting profitable sales by mitigating shortage risks, preventing theft and fraud, and ensuring product availability. They also build relationships with store leaders and public safety officials, including law enforcement. This role offers leaders meaningful experiences to build skills in leading a security culture, including crisis response, safety, and crowd management; implementing daily/weekly AP workload priorities; responding to and preventing external and internal theft and fraud; apprehending individuals causing loss; partnering with store business leaders on operational shortage priorities; and leading a team of hourly members, including interviewing, developing, evaluating, and retaining talent.
