Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 3–5 years of production supervision or related experience, preferably in manufacturing.
  • Strong independent decision-making, communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Proficient in reading and writing English and Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Able to lead small groups, hold employees accountable, and provide constructive feedback.
  • Customer-focused with a sense of urgency and commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills with a professional, positive attitude.
  • Highly accurate and able to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities.
  • Must be able to bend, twist, turn and lift/move up to fifty pounds.
  • Required travel between offices.
  • Out-of-town/overnight business travel may also be required.

Responsibilities

  • Enforce company policies, procedures, safety practices, and quality standards.
  • Supervise approximately 20 hourly employees, including interviews, performance reviews, development, and advancement discussions.
  • Train and direct personnel on equipment, control points, processes, and resources.
  • Understand production processes and troubleshoot machinery and operational issues as needed.
  • Manage NetSuite transactions, production metrics, raw materials, and machine consumables.
  • Maintain workflow by monitoring production, improving efficiency, reducing costs, identifying trends, and implementing corrective actions.
  • Execute production plans by scheduling personnel, setting priorities, monitoring progress, and resolving issues.
  • Maintain accurate production records, reports, and performance data.
  • Develop and improve systems, procedures, and processes to support operational efficiency.
  • Address personnel issues in partnership with Human Resources.
  • Manage emergency situations, including severe weather, fire, evacuations, and industrial accidents.
  • Support the Bond location and assist with production troubleshooting and problem-solving.
  • Manage projects from start to finish and participate in required training and development.
  • Use Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint effectively.
  • Maintain an organized, analytical, creative, adaptable, and positive approach when working with employees, customers, and visitors.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to fulfill position responsibilities.
  • Ability to meet physical requirements, including walking, climbing, light lifting, sitting, and standing for extended periods.
