About The Position

The Custody Operations Specialist – Team Lead supports the Asset Setup team within Custody Operations by coordinating daily production activities, supporting team execution, and assisting the manager with operational oversight. This role functions as a key support resource to ensure work is completed accurately, on schedule, and in alignment with process and control requirements. The position includes a mix of production support, coordination, quality review, and testing responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience OR Associate's degree and four or more years of relevant experience

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly operational duties across the team
  • Monitor production to ensure assigned work is completed accurately and on time
  • Support scheduling of responsibilities and track completion of assigned tasks
  • Provide training to new hires and existing team members on process updates and enhancements
  • Assist with process-heavy periods by contributing to day-to-day production work as needed
  • Perform enhanced verification and quality review beyond standard team-level checks
  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT) for system changes, including: Creating and assigning test cases, Coordinating test execution, Tracking and following up on defects, Confirming resolution and retesting
  • Assist with audit-related activities, including coordination with internal and external audit teams
  • Partner with internal teams (e.g., Income, Settlements, Trade Services) to resolve escalations and support large-scale conversions or operational changes
  • Participate in internal meetings and communications via email, Microsoft Teams, and in-person collaboration
