Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (ABET-accredited) or equivalent experience in heavy industrial maintenance, reliability, or operations.
  • 5+ years of hands-on reliability experience with the full reliability toolkit.
  • Proven RCA execution; demonstrated strength with RCM and FMEA.
  • Master-level proficiency in predictive technologies.
  • Vibration I Certification and Infrared I Certification.
  • Strong machine health monitoring proficiency.
  • Coaching experience in Work Execution Management (WEM).
  • Solid technical command of electrical or mechanical components, tools, and designs.
  • Ability to complete FMEA, cause-and-effect diagrams, root-cause failure analysis, life-cycle costing, and risk analysis.
  • Curiosity to research and apply new equipment technologies and trends.
  • Robust problem-solving, math, analytical, and decision-making capability.
  • Computer fluency across maintenance systems and applications, including Microsoft Office.
  • Clear verbal communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong reporting and technical writing capability.
  • Ability to build and sustain positive, professional relationships across functions; demonstrated leadership in cross-functional collaboration.

  • Knowledge of cGMP, NETA, EPA, and OSHA.
  • Ultrasound I; Maintenance Lubrication Analyst I; CMRP/ARP/CRP/CRL; Green Belt; STS certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Champion a safety culture and ensure adherence to ATS policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and the customer to craft engineered solutions that drive reliability and production flow.
  • Spot capital replacement opportunities, build ROI cases, and communicate recommendations with guidance.
  • Embed operating systems, critical elements, and best practices that advance a precision reliability culture.
  • Apply precision maintenance tools and techniques in the field.
  • Own Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) deliverables, including developing and sustaining equipment-specific maintenance plans (ESMPs).
  • Partner with maintenance on predictive, preventive, and precision strategies to mitigate risk prior to failure and execute maintenance optimally.
  • Lead and perform Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
  • Use advanced Work Execution Management (WEM) practices to train and mentor teams, closing gaps uncovered in reliability strategy sessions.
  • Perform, teach, and coach ATS Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Bad Actor analysis, and Fault Tree Analysis.
  • Align ATS and customer KPIs with site leadership to ensure shared outcomes.
