About The Position

The primary responsibility of the Asset Recovery Specialist is to ensure prompt return of Industrial Scientific Assets. The overall goal is to provide the best customer service to internal and external customers every transaction, every time.

Requirements

  • Associate degree or equivalent work experience in accounting or related field
  • Knowledge of or experience with customer service management systems and tools
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with pleasant demeanor
  • Strong attention to detail, flexibility, and the ability to work independently as well as within a team setting

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Salesforce CRM
  • Customer support representative experience
  • Account management or sales support experience
  • Working knowledge of Industrial Scientific products or gas detection equipment

Responsibilities

  • Assist customers to ensure prompt return of Industrial Scientific's assets
  • Review and analyze customer accounts to ensure contract billing and customer assets are in sync
  • Construct invoicing requests for unreturned assets, working with Accounting Department as needed
  • Document customer information from phone calls/emails
  • Track unresolved asset cases and provide updated information regarding contact with the customer
  • Provide quality telephone and email support with a high degree of customer service and timeliness
  • Must be able to approach all customer-related situations in a professional and courteous manner with an emphasis on customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Maintain monthly reports documenting Industrial Scientific’s assets that are due for return
