The United States Attorney's Office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania serves as the nation's principal federal litigators within the district, responsible for the prosecution of criminal cases, the defense and prosecution of civil matters in which the United States is a party, and the collection of debts owed to the Federal Government. In this role, you will plan and conduct asset investigations to recover assets and satisfy debts imposed in cases handled by the USAO, utilize electronic databases to identify recoverable assets, and prepare reports of findings for attorney review and use in establishing enforcement action.
