About The Position
Protect the company’s assets and interests through established security measures. Assets include product, equipment, property, customers and employees.
Requirements
- Strong computer proficiency, including experience with the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Clear and professional communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both internal teams and external partners.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Ability to safely lift a minimum of 40 lbs. (18 kgs.), with potential for heavier lifting depending on the facility.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, to support operational needs
Responsibilities
- Act as a first line of defense by actively monitoring alarms, surveillance systems, and security technology to ensure a safe and secure environment.
- Promptly identify and report any unusual or suspicious activity.
- Conduct thorough inspections and investigations, documenting findings clearly and accurately to support compliance and continuous improvement.
- Manage and secure facility access points by verifying credentials such as driver’s licenses, proof of insurance, and bills of lading.
- Support safe and efficient site operations by directing traffic flow and performing regular foot patrols and facility checks.
- Help protect product integrity by conducting routine trailer temperature checks.
