This position is responsible for driving sales through effective merchandise presentation, including accurate pricing, proper signing, inventory management, and display organization. The role involves leading and developing teams, providing training and feedback, and fostering collaboration across all levels of associates regarding store operations, business initiatives, and company direction. A key aspect is modeling exceptional customer service, managing customer service initiatives, and resolving customer issues. The Asset Protection Operations Coach also supervises and develops hourly associates, overseeing hiring, training, mentoring, and performance management. Furthermore, the role is critical in controlling merchandise loss and improving profitability by identifying performance goals, ensuring adherence to loss prevention policies, conducting reviews, and implementing control corrections. This includes detecting, deterring, investigating, and resolving violations of company policies and criminal activities, as well as monitoring and improving safety and risk controls within the facility. The coach manages facility-level training for asset protection, safety, claims, and receiving procedures, and oversees claims and receiving operations to ensure timely processing and proper documentation. The role requires developing relationships with stakeholders, supporting business needs, and ensuring compliance with company policies and values.
