A key aspect of the position involves controlling merchandise loss and improving profitability by setting performance goals, ensuring adherence to loss prevention policies, conducting reviews, and training associates on inventory controls. The role also includes detecting, deterring, and investigating violations of company policies and criminal activities, which may involve gathering evidence and providing courtroom testimony. Furthermore, the coach monitors and improves safety and risk controls within facilities, supervises safety teams, identifies accident trends, and provides training on accident prevention. This position manages facility-level training and execution of asset protection, safety, claims, and receiving procedures, including developing and delivering necessary training. It also oversees claims and receiving operations, ensuring proper policy adherence and timely processing of items. The coach coordinates job-related activities, builds stakeholder relationships, supports business initiatives, and ensures compliance with company policies, values, and ethical standards.
