About The Position

The Asset Protection Associate is responsible for maintaining the safety and security of the facility. This includes conducting safety sweeps, following proper procedures for handling materials, observing and reporting suspicious activity, assisting with investigations, and executing emergency response procedures. The role also emphasizes respecting individuals by embracing differences, creating an inclusive workplace, and building strong relationships. Associates are expected to act with integrity, uphold ethical standards, and contribute to Walmart's goal of becoming a regenerative company. The position involves serving customers and members by delivering results and making informed decisions. Responsibilities

• Maintains safety of Facility by following all safety standards procedures and guidelines including conducting safety sweeps, following proper forklift spotting procedures, following proper procedures for handling and disposing of hazardous materials, following Company steel standard guidelines, and correcting/reporting unsafe situations to Management.
• Secures and safeguards the Facility and surrounding areas by observing and communicating suspicious activity, assisting with investigations, maintaining paperwork logs and other required documentation, and appropriately executing emergency response procedures.
