The Asset Protection Associate, operating under the direction of the Asset Protection Manager or Assistant General Manager Operations, is responsible for monitoring shortage results, shortage control, conducting investigations and apprehensions related to internal and external theft, and implementing store safety and awareness programs at a specific Saks Fifth Avenue location. Saks Fifth Avenue is part of Saks Global’s portfolio of top luxury retail brands and real estate assets.
Requirements
- 2 years Asset Protection Experience, large volume retail environment
- Certification required where applicable by jurisdiction
- Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience
- Wicklander-Zulawski Certification required
Responsibilities
- Be responsible for training store associates on awareness and Asset Protection procedures.
- Maintain the integrity of physical inventory by overseeing reports and audits on a daily and monthly basis.
- Organize and conduct annual store inventory.
- Develop shortage strategies for merchandise groups, paperwork controls, and shortage awareness.
