About The Position

The Asset Protection Associate is responsible for maintaining the safety and security of the facility and surrounding areas. This includes adhering to all safety standards and procedures, conducting safety sweeps, handling hazardous materials appropriately, and observing and reporting suspicious activity. The role also involves assisting with investigations, maintaining documentation, and executing emergency response procedures. Associates are expected to respect individuals by embracing differences, creating an inclusive workplace, and building strong relationships. They should act with integrity by upholding ethical standards and modeling company values. Serving customers and members by putting them first and making sound decisions based on reliable information is crucial. Responsibilities

• Maintains safety of Facility by following all safety standards procedures and guidelines including conducting safety sweeps following proper forklift spotting procedures following proper procedures for handling and disposing of hazardous materials following Company steel standard guidelines and correctingreporting unsafe situations to Management
• Secures and safeguards the Facility and surrounding areas by observing and communicating suspicious activity assisting with investigations maintaining paperwork logs and other required documentation and appropriately executing emergency response procedures
• Works as a team builds strong and trusting relationships communicates with impact energy and positivity to motivate and influence
• Strengthens the team by helping developing and mentoring others recognizes others contributions and accomplishments
