About The Position

The Asset Protection Associate is responsible for maintaining the safety and security of the facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines. This includes conducting safety sweeps, following proper forklift spotting procedures, handling and disposing of hazardous materials, adhering to Company steel standard guidelines, and reporting unsafe situations. The associate will also secure and safeguard the facility and surrounding areas by observing and communicating suspicious activity, assisting with investigations, maintaining required documentation, and executing emergency response procedures. The role emphasizes respecting individuals by embracing differences, creating an inclusive workplace, building strong relationships, communicating effectively, and strengthening the team through development and recognition. It also requires acting with integrity by upholding ethical standards, modeling company values, and contributing to the company's goal of becoming a regenerative company. Responsibilities

  • Maintains safety of Facility by following all safety standards procedures and guidelines
  • Conducts safety sweeps
  • Follows proper forklift spotting procedures
  • Follows proper procedures for handling and disposing of hazardous materials
  • Follows Company steel standard guidelines
  • Corrects/reporting unsafe situations to Management
  • Secures and safeguards the Facility and surrounding areas by observing and communicating suspicious activity
  • Assists with investigations
  • Maintains paperwork logs and other required documentation
  • Appropriately executes emergency response procedures
  • Works as a team
