About The Position

Peoplr is searching for an Asset Processing Analyst for our client, October Three, in the defined benefit retirement plan industry. This job is ideal for detail-oriented, curious analysts looking to jumpstart their career in the financial services industry. The Asset Processing Analyst is a full-time, hybrid role. The chosen candidate will work out of the company’s Jacksonville, FL, or Irving, TX office.

Requirements

• Relevant prior work experience, internship, or coursework in retirement, financial services, insurance, or related industry
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills including complex functions (e.g., VLOOKUPs)
• Excellent time management and organizational skills in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• A passion for quality with experience ensuring high accuracy and minimal errors
• Demonstrated analytical skills; able to properly identify, research, and document issues
• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, data science, or similar related field; equivalent experience also acceptable

Nice To Haves

• Ability to perform complex Excel macros
• SQL skills
• Certifications in project management, retirement, or finance

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze third-party asset information, updating October Three’s daily value market-based cash balance plans accordingly.
• Collaborate and support the administration of cash balance plans.
• Directly support the company’s future growth by enabling daily valuation of cash balance plans.
• Test new technology, automation, and functionality as the daily valuation processing platforms evolve.
