About The Position

Peraton requires an Asset Manager to support the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) – 3. This position is located at Camp H.M. Smith, HI. The purpose of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM, its Component Commands, its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), and its deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (NetOps); maintain systems and network infrastructure ensuring the security and integrity of Federal/National Security organization’s information systems, managing risk, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. Providing asset management services and inventory control analysis to maintain consistent accountability of Automated Data Processing Equipment (ADPE) assets supporting the SIE.

Requirements

BS + 2 years of experience OR HS with 6 years of experience OR AA with 4 yrs of experience.
DoD Secret or above with ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.
1 year of experience in an IT and asset management position.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience with Microsoft Enterprise Licensing is highly recommended.
Prior experience supporting an enterprise level IT contract in a DoD organization.

Responsibilities

Documents and coordinates shipping and receiving of ADPE assets, accountability of inventory, short term storage facilities of computer/communications-related assets, and distribution of hardware, as directed by the Government.
Ensures that ADPE hardware and software are properly received in an ITSM approved database, documented in accordance with Personal Property Management (PPM) requirements, stored, and disbursed to the required user to maintain good supply and accountability of ADPE.
Recommends and supports the development, and maintenance of approved processes for managing and tracking the full IT asset, license, and maintenance lifecycle from procurement to retirement.
Recommends and supports the development, maintenance, and updating of approved policies and procedures for effective IT asset lifecycle management, including acquisition, deployment, utilization, de-installation, reallocation, and disposal.
Coordinates shipment plans to ensure efficient distribution of products to satisfy customers.
Analyzes inventory levels and product demand to determine reorder levels, which shall ensure product availability and minimize inventory costs.
Reports on inventory levels to efficiently utilize capital investment while maintaining adequate coverage for known/projected demand.
Advises and supports accountability over assigned products; determine appropriate distribution based on lead times and demand.
Ensures property is uniquely identified and changes are tracked and recorded in accordance with PPM requirements.

Inspects goods and materials and assess the condition of assets for distribution/recycling.
Coordinates the disposal of property, supplies, and materiel in compliance with Government and service regulations/guidelines and documentation requirements.
Maintains records of acquisition/distribution of property, supplies, and materials by utilizing applicable processes.
Processes excess ADPE as identified by the Government using DoD procedures.
Aids with completing quarterly and annual inventories.
Recommends metrics, gathers data, and reports on the effectiveness of the IT asset management processes.
