The Asset Manager is responsible for the initial screening of incoming work orders, identification of scope, and analysis of the required level of planning, including applicable QA/QC requirements for jobs. This role involves conducting field walk-downs to identify and document job requirements, including any specific safety hazards. The Asset Manager will develop comprehensive work packages, perform queries in SAP, and provide off-hour support for maintenance issues. They will also create and maintain job plans for repetitive maintenance activities, provide planning and support for equipment outages, unit shutdowns, and plantwide turnarounds, and maintain a ready backlog of at least two weeks' worth of work. The position requires monitoring the lifecycle of work orders through to close-out, maintaining a professional image, and adhering to company policies. The Asset Manager will also be responsible for communication efforts to ensure clarity and timeliness, and may undertake special projects. The ability to work independently, collaboratively, and provide technical advice to various departments is essential. Duties may change based on business needs.
