ELS is hiring for the position of Asset Management Intern in Chicago, Illinois. What you'll do: The Summer Internship program is a full-time, paid opportunity that will run from May to August. This role will also assist Corporate and Regional Property Management in monitoring property operations with the ultimate goal of maximizing the value of our properties. During the ELS internship, you will work in a collaborative, fast-paced company right in the heart of downtown Chicago. Our internship program is robust and you will be involved in meaningful projects that have a true impact upon the business. We also offer intern-specific activities, including lunch & learns, a group project and presentation to our executive team, networking opportunities and meet & greets with executives. Of course, our interns will also be a part of our summer company-wide social events! Your job will include: Assess and create models for acquisition opportunities Create and analyze market comp data for each specific acquisition opportunity Property Due Diligence for acquisition opportunities Maintain portfolio databases: acquisition pipeline, sales comps, competitor data Organize and maintain easement and condemnation related projects Prepare presentations for acquisitions and new business opportunities

Requirements

  • Desire to learn about commercial real estate investment
  • Entering your Junior or Senior year working towards a degree in Real Estate or Finance
  • Solid Excel and Microsoft Word skills.
  • Strong communication and written skills
  • Reliable and hard-working

Responsibilities
