About The Position

AECOM is seeking an Asset Management Intern to be based in Murray, Utah. This position is expected to begin in March 2026. This role can be part-time (20 hours / week) or full-time (40 hours / week) but a minimum of two days per week will be required to be on-site at the Salt Lake City Water Reclamation Facility.

Requirements

  • Candidates must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, and must have completed at least 1 year of study. Candidates who have recently graduated with a Bachelor’s degree and plan to continue with the Master’s degree are eligible to apply for these positions. Recent graduates must have been enrolled in their bachelor’s degree in the most previous school term with an interest in pursuing an advanced degree in the same or similar discipline at the conclusion of the internship.
  • Due to the nature of work, US citizenship is required for this role.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong organizational, technical and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently or within a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Internships are designed to introduce and build essential, hands-on skills that differ from those attained in the academic arena and help to enhance the transition from student to professional.
  • Interns are assigned duties that will provide a broad, well-rounded learning experience within their field of study
  • Assist Asset Management team with reviewing O&M manuals, data collection, database organization, reporting, field QC of integrated data in CMMS system, and other tasks.
