About The Position

Our Internship Program provides undergraduate students with a structured and meaningful learning experience designed to prepare them for future careers and help them make informed decisions about their professional aspirations. This 10-week opportunity focuses on building foundational business knowledge while helping interns understand how to effectively operate and grow in a corporate environment. This opportunity is part of SEI’s broader professional and leadership development continuum, designed to support early career talent as they explore potential career paths. While the internship does not guarantee full-time placement, it provides meaningful exposure to SEI’s culture, ways of working, and development opportunities that may support future consideration for additional early career programs. Interns will work in a hybrid model from our corporate headquarters in Oaks, Pennsylvania. In addition to on-the-job experience, Interns can expect to: Build foundational professional skills and strengthen business, industry, and technical acumen through a weekly seminar series Develop practical workplace capabilities through interactive sessions focused on how work gets done in a corporate environment Participate in an on‑demand summer learning plan curated by our People Development team to support business knowledge and professional development Gain exposure to SEI’s business, teams, and culture through hands‑on experiences and group activities Receive regular coaching and guidance through one‑to‑one sessions with the program manager to support professional growth and career exploration Connect with members of the broader SEI workforce through career story sessions and informal coffee chats Build meaningful relationships with fellow interns through several events held throughout the summer Receive a resume review and professional headshot to support future career opportunities Qualities successful interns bring to SEI Academic achievement in Business or Technology related fields of study such as finance, accounting, economics, marketing, computer science, or data analytics Leadership involvement in university or community organizations (e.g., charities, clubs, athletic teams, honor societies) A grade point average of 3.5 or above General awareness of artificial intelligence (AI) concepts and an interest in learning how AI can be used responsibly and effectively in a professional work environment Strong written and verbal communication skills A strong work ethic and sense of accountability Enthusiasm, curiosity, and active participation Proactiveness and willingness to learn Thoughtful risk-taking and openness to feedback Professionalism, respect, and a collaborative mindset SEI Asset Management Overview: Asset Management brings together investment management, product development, and client‑facing teams to deliver practical investment solutions for financial advisors and institutions. The business focuses on developing investment strategies, managing portfolios, and supporting products that advisors and clients use in real‑world applications. Work spans sales, marketing, investment product development, and portfolio advice, with an emphasis on translating investment ideas into implementable solutions that support long‑term client outcomes. SEI Asset Management Intern: The Asset Management Intern role is designed as a rotational experience across multiple Asset Management functions, including Sales, Marketing, Investment Product Development/Specialization, and Portfolio Advice. Interns will gain hands‑on exposure to how investment products are developed, positioned, and supported across the organization. Interns will contribute to real business initiatives within each rotation, applying academic concepts in a professional setting while building practical skills relevant to future full‑time roles. The program is intended to provide meaningful work experience and serve as a pipeline into Associate‑level positions within Asset Management. Criteria: Pursuing a business‑related degree Demonstrated coursework, certifications, or project experience in AI or automation (copilot experience preferred) Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills Interest in investments, financial markets, and asset management business models. Requirements
