2027 Internship Program: Asset Management
About The Position
Cantor Fitzgerald's 2027 Asset Management Internship Program provides a hands-on, rotational experience across four core teams within the Fixed Income Administration division. Interns complete rotations in Real Estate, Sales, Traditional Investing, and Hedge Fund Investing, gaining exposure to career paths across Asset Management. The program includes real-world projects, collaboration with senior professionals, networking events, and mentorship sessions. Interns deliver presentations to senior executives every two weeks and complete a capstone project and presentation at the end of the internship, building a foundation for a career in asset management.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled as a rising junior or senior in a bachelor's degree program.
- Demonstrated interest in finance, investing, or asset management.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and comfort presenting to senior audiences.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Intellectual curiosity, initiative, and a collaborative mindset.
- Strong academic record from an accredited university.
- Basic understanding of financial markets and investment concepts.
- Willingness to learn and adapt across diverse asset classes.
Responsibilities
- Complete four two-week rotations in Real Estate, Sales, Traditional Investing, and Hedge Fund Investing.
- Gain exposure to career paths within Asset Management.
- Execute mini-projects across Sales, Research, Marketing, and Investor Relations.
- Deliver oral presentations to senior executives every two weeks.
- Develop and present a capstone project at the end of the internship.
- Collaborate with team members to analyze investment opportunities.
- Assist in preparing client-facing materials and reports.
- Participate in networking events and mentorship sessions.
- Contribute to data analysis and financial modeling tasks.
- Provide feedback on process improvements and workflow efficiencies.
