About The Position

Marcon is seeking an Asset Management Associate to support the performance and value creation of a diverse portfolio of income-producing real estate assets across retail mixed-use, industrial, rental residential, hospitality, and seniors housing. Reporting to the Senior Asset Manager, this role provides analytical, financial, and operational support to help optimize asset performance, execute business plans, and support strategic decision-making. The Asset Management Associate plays an important role in evaluating portfolio performance, preparing financial analyses, supporting leasing and capital planning initiatives, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders. This position offers exposure to multiple asset classes and provides the opportunity to contribute to investment performance across a growing real estate portfolio. You will work closely with leaders across Asset Management, Property Management, Development, Finance, Construction, and Leasing to help drive operational excellence and long-term value creation. The role combines financial analysis, strategic thinking, and cross-functional collaboration, making it an excellent opportunity for a real estate professional looking to deepen their asset management expertise within a vertically integrated real estate organization. Success in this role requires strong analytical capabilities, commercial awareness, attention to detail, and the ability to translate data into meaningful business insights that support portfolio performance and investment objectives.

Requirements

  • 5–7+ years of experience in commercial real estate asset management, acquisitions, valuation, lending, brokerage, development, or a related field
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Real Estate, Economics, Urban Land Economics, or a related discipline
  • Strong financial modeling, underwriting, valuation, and analytical capabilities
  • Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, portfolio reporting, and asset performance analysis
  • Understanding of commercial leasing structures, property operations, and key real estate performance metrics
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience working with real estate reporting and data management systems
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
