About The Position

The Asset Management Analyst plays a critical role to ensure that Republic Services’ resources are being used effectively and to achieve strategic goals. The incumbent will rely heavily on analytical skills to evaluate complex information, formulate insights, and develop sound recommendations to support the management of growth, retirement, redeployment, capital spending oversights, compliance, and reporting. The Asset Management Analyst will collaborate with subject matter experts to break down intricate problems, identify areas of improvement, and document step-by-step procedures to provide solutions to manage the Company’s assets.

Requirements

  • Proficient in VMRS (Vehicle Maintenance Reporting Standards) coding.
  • Ability to think strategically and analytically.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficient in MS Office suite of tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Extensive equipment part management experience, preferably including heavy equipment and recycling preferred.
  • 2 - 4 years of experience in equipment parts and/or inventory management.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in vendor management preferred.
  • Oracle Product Data Hub and Product Information Management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support Field requests for new part creation, part transfers, updates, and corrections via email and ServiceNow.
  • Cleanse parts list for newly acquired sites or lines of business including the description, supplier information, manufacturer information, unit of measure, and Vehicle Maintenance Reporting Standards (VMRS).
  • Create and review parts uploads for new or expanded vendor, sites, and lines of business.
  • Complete parts uploads in Oracle Product Information Management using FBDI files and triage errors.
  • Review item change orders in Oracle Product Information Management from third party cleansing updates including part number, description, serialization, cores, Item class, trading partners, and duplicates.
  • Complete a daily review of field submitted New Item Requests (NIR) including item cleanse, item creation core creation, description, serialization, associated trading partners, and duplicate item review.
  • Manage core items, child items, and item structure in Oracle Product Information Management.
  • Perform data quality analysis on item master records and rectify data errors.
  • Identifies opportunities to automate, centralize, and simplify processes.
  • Designs and continually updates the asset management content on the internal SharePoint webpage, ensuring accuracy and ease of navigation.
  • Review parts master for obsolete and superseded parts and update as required.
  • Coordinates with Field and Procurement Team with parts inquiries and orders for correct part master.
  • Performs other responsibilities and projects as assigned or apparent.
