About The Position
The Asset Maintenance Tech I plays a key role in servicing, maintaining, and repairing rental equipment while also supporting inventory control.
Requirements
- Mechanical or equipment maintenance experience
- Hands-on repairs and preventive maintenance
- Strong mechanical skills (hydraulics, valves, hoses; basic electrical a plus)
- Able to work independently in yard/shop/field environments
Nice To Haves
- Welding a plus
Responsibilities
- Helps coordinate cycle counts and physical inventories
- Assists with evaluation of cycle counts and coordinates adjustments
- Inspects and ensures all equipment is properly repaired or serviced prior to release
- Completes all required equipment check sheets
- Ensures all parts, labor, and miscellaneous items are included on the work orders
- Operates forklift as required to move equipment and supplies
- Delivers and/or picks up berms from customers
- Other duties as assigned
