About The Position

The role We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Asset Lead to oversee the creation, quality, and delivery of high-end CG assets for VFX productions. This role requires a strong artistic eye, technical expertise, and leadership capability across Modeling, Texturing, and Look Development workflows. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading asset artists, maintaining visual and technical standards, supporting production needs, and ensuring assets are delivered efficiently within the studio pipeline.

Requirements

Proven experience as an Asset Lead in a VFX production environment.
6+ years overseeing the creation of hero assets, environments, and props across Modeling, Texturing, Surfacing, and Look Development.
Strong proficiency in industry-standard tools including Maya, Houdini, ZBrush, Substance Painter, Mari, and Photoshop.
Good understanding of Arnold renderer.
Solid understanding of asset creation pipelines, including clean topology, UV workflows, optimized geometry, and downstream dependencies across Lighting, FX, Groom, and Rigging.
Demonstrated leadership and communication skills.
Ability to identify and resolve technical and pipeline challenges in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Familiarity with Linux-based environments.

Basic scripting knowledge is a plus.
