About The Position

The Asset Coordinator oversees all assigned assets and asset types within the District. This role tracks and reports on all assigned assets from purchase to disposal, utilizing standard reporting tools. Assets may include treating iron, equipment, and related sub-components. The position champions the company’s H.S.E.&T program, ensuring quality service in a safe and efficient manner. Essential duties involve coordinating and promoting District-wide asset inventory processes with RPC Asset Management, maintaining the asset tracking system, conducting routine inventories, and coordinating asset transfers and disposals. The role also involves developing asset reports, assisting with process development for asset management, supporting field personnel with training on asset management processes, and potentially assisting the Maintenance department with spare parts inventory recordkeeping. The Asset Coordinator performs assigned tasks as directed by their supervisor and may be required to perform general labor. This position is required to perform safety-sensitive functions as defined in the CES Drug and Alcohol Plan.

Responsibilities

  • Champions the company’s H.S.E.&T program in all aspects of work performed to provide quality service in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Coordinates and promotes District-wide asset inventory processes along with RPC Asset Management.
  • Coordinates, updates, and maintains the assets tracking system for assigned assets.
  • Ensures all assets are properly tagged and recorded in the asset tracking system.
  • Conducts routine asset inventories (monthly, annual) in coordination with Asset Management.
  • Coordinates and records transfers and disposals of fixed assets to ensure the decisions are consistent with business needs.
  • Develops asset reports, including inventory reports.
  • Assists with the development of written processes and procedures for identifying, tracking, transferring, reporting, and disposing of assets.
  • Support field personnel and other individuals involved in asset management by ensuring operators are trained, proficient, and understand the asset management process.
  • May assist Maintenance department with recordkeeping and other duties associated with spare parts inventory.
  • Conducts assigned tasks to track assets as assigned by supervisor.
  • Performs any and all job duties as assigned by supervisory personnel including general labor, as necessary.
