About The Position

We are looking for an Asset Care Generalist to play a key role in championing and executing the Asset Care and User-Driven Maintenance Management Systems. This role involves active collaboration across teams to ensure shared accountability and continuous improvement within their assigned location. The Asset Care Generalist will serve as the go-to collaborator for maintenance, reliability, and integrity performance, partnering across teams to drive initiatives and elevate standards. They will champion compliance with applicable regulations and leverage CMMS systems to drive regional excellence in Reliability & Integrity. This role also involves consulting on Mechanical & Electrical Integrity and equipment reliability, guiding decisions on inspection strategy, material selection, weld quality, and rotating asset performance. The Generalist will partner with technicians and engineers to resolve equipment issues and oversee the implementation of asset management strategy, including Asset Criticality Analysis, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis, and preventive/predictive maintenance. Additionally, they will lead cross-functional Root Cause Analysis (RCA)/Defect Elimination teams to resolve recurring asset challenges and build long-term resilience.

Requirements

High School Diploma with 7+ years of experience
Self-driven, effective both independently and as a leader
Strong team player; works well across all levels of the organization
Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Proven experience leading and executing projects
Fluent in written and spoken English

Nice To Haves

BS in Agriculture, Engineering, Maintenance, or related field with 4+ years' experience
Background in mechanical, chemical, electrical/instrumentation, or electromechanical engineering
Expertise in reliability-centered maintenance and asset performance management
Strong cross-functional technical knowledge
Experience with design, operation, and maintenance of rotating and stationary equipment, including piping
Understanding of process control technology
Confident communicator with strong interpersonal and influencing skills in multidisciplinary settings
Performance tuning, testing of various equipment and controls
Maintain coding, compliance, & security standards
Builds application for various user environments
Understand company core logic, standard HMI logic, and IT process control network

Responsibilities

Champion and execute the Asset Care and User-Driven Maintenance Management Systems.
Collaborate across teams to ensure shared accountability and continuous improvement within their assigned location.
Serve as the go-to collaborator for maintenance, reliability, and integrity performance.
Champion compliance with applicable regulations, working closely with authorities across federal, state, and local levels.
Leverage CMMS systems to lead regional excellence in Reliability & Integrity, driving transparency and continuous improvement.
Consult on Mechanical & Electrical Integrity and equipment reliability, guiding decisions on inspection strategy, material selection, weld quality, and rotating asset performance.
Partner with technicians and engineers to resolve equipment issues and ensure compliance with regulations set by federal (OSHA and EPA), state and local authorities.
Oversee the implementation of asset management strategy, including Asset Criticality Analysis, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis, and preventive/predictive maintenance.
Lead cross-functional Root Cause Analysis (RCA)/Defect Elimination teams, using structured problem-solving to resolve recurring asset challenges and build long-term resilience.
Support the Regional Automation Engineer.
Maintain existing control systems, ensuring equipment reliability, on stream time and safety of the seed manufacturing production operations.
Be the technical resource for site production and control system support.
Perform PLC, HMI programming and IT management efforts at site.
Install, start-up, and commission smaller scale automation/control improvement projects and support small scale capital projects implemented at site.
