About The Position

Lentech is seeking an Asset Auditor to perform physical inventory of technology assets in offices and data centers. This role is crucial for verifying asset data accuracy and billing information. The Asset Auditor will download existing inventory data onto handheld scanners, conduct inventories as a team in local offsite locations, and upload captured data back at the main office. This position ensures compliance with internal control procedures by examining records, reports, operating practices, and documentation. The role involves conducting physical inventories of technology devices across multiple local buildings and campuses to ensure 100% visibility of equipment across the enterprise. Responsibilities include walking office floors and data centers with handheld scanners to collect and update asset data, synchronizing captured asset data for reconciliation, and managing site entry logistics by submitting access requests and obtaining necessary clearances for restricted environments. The Asset Auditor will also utilize online tools to research site-specific maps and points of contact, and prepare periodic and special purpose reports as required. Typical workdays are 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Requirements

  • Active TS.SCI w FSP through MD
  • Five (5) years of experience that may include a combination of work history and education.
  • Experience with asset inventory and reconciliation procedures, ticketing systems, and data bases a plus.

  • Returning to the main office to synchronize captured asset data for reconciliation.
  • Managing the logistics of site entry by proactively submitting access requests and obtaining necessary clearances for restricted office and data center environments.
  • Utilizing online tools to research site specific maps as well as points of contact.
  • Preparing periodic and special purpose reports as required.
