About The Position

A full-time Assessor position is now available with Liberty Healthcare. This role involves administering structured assessments to help determine individuals’ eligibility for home and community-based services that support independence and wellbeing. This is a field-based role which will allow you to primarily work remotely from home and require you to travel to client residences throughout the region. Your daily work will involve Leading in-person and virtual meetings with people who have intellectual and developmental disabilities and autism Gathering information from individuals and their families and caregivers Using standardized assessment tools to help determine individual needs Completing structured reports within established deadlines There is some flexibility in the work schedule, which is primarily Monday through Friday during daytime hours. As a new hire you will receive formal training in industry leading person-centered assessment tools, and over time you will gain valuable resume building skills and experience.

Requirements

  • Professional or personal experience supporting people who have autism and/or developmental disabilities
  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, education, nursing, or a related health or human services field
  • Outstanding verbal communication skills and the ability to engage people in productive conversations
  • Solid written communication, computer, active listening, and analytical skills
  • Idaho residency
  • Must be very organized and self-motivated
  • Must have your own insured vehicle

Nice To Haves

  • Relevant work experience if you’ve worked as a Direct Support Professional, Case Manager, QIDP, Social Services Intake or Admissions Specialist, Service Coordinator, Client Advocate, or Caseworker.
