About The Position

Citibank, N.A. seeks an Assessment & Design Lead Analyst for its Tampa, FL location. This role supports multiple risk and control programs for the organization, including defining strategy, approach, processes, quality, tools, and reporting to ensure consistency and excellence. The analyst will assess control design effectiveness and remediate potential findings identified in the operational process via corrective action plans. They will work closely with business partners on findings and make recommendations for improving practices. Additionally, the role involves developing procedural implementation and change management processes with the Operations and Reporting team to ensure proper governance and controls. The analyst will examine procedures for consistency and gaps relative to regulations, as well as their impact on customer experience. A key aspect of the role is to act as a subject matter expert, assessing risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets. The position drives compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to policy, applying sound ethical judgment, and escalating and reporting control issues with transparency. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Enterprise Risk Management, Economics, or a related field, and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation performing operational, market and/or liquidity risk assessments.
  • Five (5) years of experience must include: Validating and documenting processes, risks and controls including methodologies in line with policies and guidelines applicable to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Identifying and mitigating non-financial risks that could be present in a company including Operational and Compliance risks.
  • Utilizing Microsoft Office including Excel and Power Point tools for generating reporting to senior management.
  • Coordinating with the internal and external stakeholders including audit, legal, compliance and regulators to rectify control deficiencies and develop action plans with process owners.
  • In the alternative, Employer will accept a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, and three (3) years of experience.
  • Employer will accept pre/post Master’s degree experience.
