About The Position

This position supports the maintenance and reporting from databases for the accreditation and assessment efforts of the College of Education and Professional Development. The role involves collecting, entering, organizing, analyzing, and maintaining assessment, program, and student data to support accreditation, program review, strategic planning, and college-wide continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibilities include maintaining assessment records, electronic documentation, and supporting evidence for accreditation and institutional reporting. The position also supports COEPD data systems by managing candidate records, clinical experiences, key assessments, evaluations, and program completion data. Additionally, it involves compiling, verifying, and reporting educator licensure, certification, and other required state and federal reporting data. The role requires designing and administering surveys and data collection tools, and preparing reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and related business intelligence tools. Technical assistance will be provided to faculty and staff on assessment systems, reporting tools, educational technology applications, and data management processes. The position will monitor classroom technology, software applications, and instructional technology resources, collaborating with University IT for troubleshooting and supporting technology initiatives. Website development and maintenance for the college, department, and programs are also key functions, ensuring content accuracy, accessibility, and brand consistency. Support for digital communications, online forms, event technology, and other operational activities is expected. A thorough understanding of COEPD departments, degrees, and programs is necessary. Other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Experience with database maintenance and reporting.
  • Proficiency in data collection, organization, analysis, and maintenance.
  • Experience with accreditation and institutional reporting.
  • Experience maintaining candidate records, clinical experiences, key assessments, evaluations, and program completion data.
  • Experience compiling, verifying, and reporting licensure and certification data.

Responsibilities
