We are currently seeking an Assessment Counselor to support our clients at our Center City location. Requirements
- Master’s Degree from an accredited college in a clinical discipline that includes a clinical practicum
Responsibilities
- Introduce and explain the Level of Care Assessment (LOCA) process to clients
- Collect demographic and clinical history information relevant to the LOCA
- Explain and facilitate signatures for Releases of Information (ROI) and admission paperwork
- Support the admission process by coordinating with Licensed Counselors when clients are ready for the clinical portion of the LOCA
- Gather information and complete precertification for managed care clients when applicable
- Assist in identifying appropriate placement for clients
- Collaborate with therapists, admissions, and marketing teams
- Participate in case consultation with the clinical team
- Maintain up-to-date scheduling in collaboration with admissions
- Perform other duties as assigned
