Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences (PNWU) was founded as a 501(c) (3) non-profit medical institution in 2005 aimed at increasing access to health care in medically underserved areas of the Pacific Northwest. The University currently offers the degrees of Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, Doctor of Physical Therapy, Doctor of Dental Medicine, Master of Biomedical Sciences, and Master of Science in Occupational Therapy enrolling over 550 students annually. Interprofessional education partnerships with other universities adds another 100 students to the population. The campus includes 300 employees with academic programming spread over a five-state region. General Summary: Responsibilities include working with faculty across multiple health sciences programs to build, review, and code performance-based and objective assessments; assigning graders; proctoring assessments; following assessment guidelines; generating reports; overseeing assigned assessment activities; and providing general assessment support for students and faculty. Timely communication, attention to detail, confidentiality, and sound judgment are requirements of the Student Assessment Coordinator. Additional responsibilities of the Senior Student Assessment Coordinator include management of alternate assessment process, prompt and detailed communication with students, and management of assigned course gradebooks. The Senior Student Assessment Coordinator successfully utilizes excel, works independently, and exercises sound judgment across all tasks.
