About The Position

We are currently looking for a Master level Therapist to join our team. The candidate selected will be responsible for conducting therapeutic services for patients, providing counseling sessions for families, individuals and groups. This role involves interviewing and developing psychosocial histories, assessing therapeutic needs, and developing treatment objectives and monthly summaries. The Assessment Coordinator will also serve as the primary contact and advocate for patients and families with the treatment team, and liaise with outside agencies for discharge planning.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university in social work, counseling, or other related fields.
• Must be able to communicate with members of the multidisciplinary treatment team, managed care representatives, adults and patient families in a clear and concise manner.

Nice To Haves

• One (1) year direct clinical experience specific to family, individual and group therapy preferred

Responsibilities

• Conducting therapeutic services for patients.
• Provide counseling sessions for families, individuals and groups.
• Interviewing and developing the psychosocial history.
• Assessing the therapeutic needs of the individual and family.
• Developing appropriate treatment objectives and monthly treatment summaries.
• Act as the patients’ and families’ primary contact during the patient’s stay at the facility, as well as their advocate with the treatment team.
• Liaisons with outside agencies and individuals for the purpose of developing and coordinating discharge planning with the treatment team and family.
