About The Position
This role involves following established assembly procedures to ensure quality production. The assembler will read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams to assemble components using hand and small power tools. Responsibilities include performing final assembly, using measuring and testing devices, setting up test apparatus, troubleshooting basic assembly issues, and adhering to safety procedures. The position also requires maintaining a clean work environment and cross-training to support other product lines as needed.
Requirements
- HS diploma or equivalent
- General assembly experience desired
- Organizational skills
- Ability to read and understand blueprints
- Ability to resolve basic assembly issues
Responsibilities
- Follow established assembly procedures to ensure quality production.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams to assemble components.
- Use hand and small power tools, such as screwdrivers, wrenches, and drills, to assemble components.
- Assemble components, fixtures, and accessories according to established specifications and instructions.
- Perform final assembly of components, fixtures, and accessories.
- Use various measuring and testing devices, such as multimeters and megohmmeter, to ensure quality and accuracy of assemblies.
- Set up test apparatus and conduct tests of production assemblies and units following methods, procedures, standards, and sequences.
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic issues related to assembly, such as fitting and alignment problems.
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines in the assembly process.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Cross-train to support other product lines as needed.
